Fusion Evolution 2022 Portrait Sessions

The Dancers Eye will be offering photo sessions at Fusion Evolution 2022 in Chicago, IL on Friday, June 26 – Sunday, June 28 to capture your best belly looks.
PLEASE NOTE: This year, first priority on photo sessions will be given to Fusion Evolution attendees. When you book your session, you must send me a copy of your class registration to verify you are attending FE. On July 1st, all remaining sessions will be available to the general public.
One hour sessions will be held on:
Friday, June 26 – 9:45 am, 11 am, 12:15 pm, 2:15 pm, 3:30 pm, 4:30 pm
Saturday, June 27 – 9:45 am, 11 am, 12:15 pm, 2:15 pm, 3:30 pm, 4:30 pm
Sunday, June 28 – 9:45 am, 11 am, 1 pm, 2:15 pm
Sessions will be held in an upstairs Suite at the Fusion Evolution official hotel, The Westin Chicago North Shore. There is also a beautiful outdoor area that can be used as well!
The session costs $200 and includes six touched-up and finished images (blemishes removed, skin tone corrected, etc.) that will be delivered via WeTransfer. These high-resolution released images will be suitable for portraits, business cards, and advertising, as well as web-posting.
Photo sessions will be scheduled on a “first-come/pre-paid basis”. Advance payment will be made by credit card, check or Paypal. Emailcarrie@thedancerseye.com to reserve your date and time. Carrie will reply via email with your payment options and instructions, along with confirmation of your time slot. Once your payment is received, your session will be reserved, and you will receive a confirmation email. Walk-ups will be accepted if there are time slots available.
*** To book, a non-refundable $100 deposit is required. The balance is due one month before the event. If booking after July 26th, the full amount is due to book. ***
The hour long sessions can be split by two dancers and additional completed image files are available for $15 each. Groups larger than two dancers, please contact Carrie directly for pricing and availability.

Would you like a beautiful portrait of yourself in your costume right before you go on stage at Fusion Evolution? The Dancers Eye will be offering 10 minute sessions Friday AND Saturday! Each dancer, duet or tribe (up to a dozen dancers MAX) will need to have their pose prepared ahead of time, as we will be moving very quickly to allow everyone to get their photos done before show time! These sessions are only available to performers on their respective performance evenings.
The session costs $12 PER DANCER and includes one high-resolution photo PER SESSION that will be sent via WeTransfer.

The Dancers Eye will be serving as the official photographer for both shows at Fusion Evolution 2022!
You will be able to purchase either web-resolution or full-resolution files that you can download. Individual web-resolution shots will be $5 each. Individual full-resolution files (print quality, uncropped) will be $15 each.
There will be special packages offered on purchasing multiple web-resolution shots:
5 files - $20
10 files - $40
15 files - $60
All of your shots (max of 35 photos) - $85
Photos are NOT sold to the public - only the performer may purchase their own photos. You can pre-order your photos if you'd like - email carrie@thedancersye.com!

About Carrie…
Carrie Meyer, Photographer/The Dancers Eye, has had an interest in cameras and photography from a very young age, when her parents first allowed her to experiment with several of their cameras. She fondly remembers her first Kodak Instamatic, and the variety of fun shots she was able to capture with it.
Carrie began bellydancing in 2001. She sought to find a workout that would inspire her to keep the weight off, while not being tied to the gym. Little did she know at the time that this was just the beginning of a love affair with dance that has now spanned a decade for her. In this period of time, she has learned traditional Egyptian, ATS and Fusion, and has danced in groups that have featured all these styles.
Regardless of the photographic subject matter, Carrie’s work shares certain commonalities. The clarity of the images represented, thoughtful composition, and the meaning of the moments in time that she captures characterize her work. The foundation of her work builds out from the strength and power of the basic images, and the personality, of her subjects. Having married her love of bellydance with her love of photography, Carrie offers her dancer subjects a unique opportunity to work with an artist who truly understands the dance, and how dancers want themselves to be portrayed.
Carrie's work has been featured on the covers of Shimmy, Fuse, Jareeda and Zagareet and in the pages of Yallah, among other publications.
