Eye Makeup - A Formula For Success
Friday 1:30-3:00pm $35 pre-reg, $40 at the door When making up for the stage, it is most important to make sure that your eye structure has enough contrast in color, light and depth. This workshop will serve to give you a step-by-step process for making up your eyes, giving you a formula that will work for ten harried minutes in front of a restaurant bathroom mirror as well as a leisurely makeup session in the theatre. We will discuss the importance of shadow and highlight, why neutrals colors are important, "cutting a crease," extra bling, and a few tips on making your false eyelashes work the first time. Please bring your makeup kit, lashes, a hand mirror and a towel. Light and Shadow - Creating the Shape of Your Face Saturday 1:30-3:00pm $35 pre-reg, $40 at the door As soon as the stage lights hit you, your face is a blank canvas. It is important first to know where the bones of your face are – then you may work with or around them to create a classically beautiful makeup. This workshop will discuss bone structure and the use of contouring with highlights and shadows to present you in your best light. We will discuss suitable products and colors for contouring, suitable placement for blushers, and how to make the absolute best of your bone structure – including fine points which nature might have forgotten. Please bring your makeup kit, a hand mirror and a towel; there will be highlight and shadow products for you to experiment with in the class. |
