Why are we seeking donations?
From 2005 to 2019 Fusion Evolution (formerly Tribal Revolution) has been a mainstay on the belly dance festival circuit, bringing music and dance workshops and performances to the Midwest that our participants would otherwise have to travel great distances to experience.
Although our event has succeeded and grown to be one of the most reputable belly dance weekends, not many people realize that Fusion Evolution and its parent organization, Blue Lotus Tribe, NFP is a 501c3 nonprofit entity.
Our organization sustained significant losses when we were compelled to cancel our 2020 event due to COVID, putting the future of Fusion Evolution in jeopardy, but our generous donors saved the day in 2022 allowing us to continue in 2023.
We are making the commitment to our community by bringing Fusion Evolution back in 2024, but we can still us some help in continuing its top-notch status among belly dance events.
With so many events similar to Fusion Evolution being discontinued, our dance family has fewer choices for multi-teacher and multi-show weekends at which to gather, learn, perform, and grow as artists and as humans, and this is the only event of its kind in the entire Midwest.
If you wish to help, we will be leaving the above donation portal open year-round for anyone who would like to support the future of Fusion Evolution. Does your employer or company do donation matching? We are set up to receive matched donations as well.
